**We ask all attendees to wear a Mask for this group as a precaution for the spread of illnesses, including COVID, Cold & Flu. we keep each other safe.**

  • Sure - an embodiment group sounds interesting, but what does this really mean? This group is a space where we explore what it means to be in a body, particularly fat bodies. Exploring how we can be with ourselves and others in a space that centres fat and moves with that intention.

This group is a mix of activities, including movement and felt sense, creative processing, and reflection. All activities invite you to experiment with what connects and resonates for you. This space plans to use voice and sound - we have access to some great acoustics.

We will be in a small group of people (6-7, plus myself).

  • If you are curious about the group and joining, reach out to me via email or book a consult directly through the Jane App. We can talk more about some of the group content, ask questions and decide if a group format feels right for you in this moment.

  • We are holding the group in person for the first offering. However, I plan to offer an online-only group for the next offering. The dates for the online group are not finalized but look for the later spring.

  • A few reduced-cost ($40/session) spots are available for people. Please reach out directly to me if these rates would support your attendance.

  • This is still coming together, but it will include

    • what it means to have a body

    • how dissociation protects and building compassionate understanding

    • making a home for joy and pleasure

  • The in-person group will be on the 2nd floor of a building in the Harbourside area of North Vancouver. The building has a gradient ramp to the door. There is no accessibility button on the outside. There is a wheel chair accessible elevator to the 2nd floor. Door frames are 26 inches wide. The space is scent reduced and we will be using limited scents (potentially beeswax from candle). Our main room has a HEPA air filter and a door to a small patio for air flow.

The 2nd floor has a wheelchair accessible washroom with a grab bar.
